V-BONDTM

V-BONDTM is a highly engineered flooring adhesive specially formulated to install VERDEX® on wood or concrete sub-floors. In addition it may also be used for installation of most multi-ply engineered plank, plain-back parquet, ¾" solid shorts as well as acrylic impregnated multi-engineered plank flooring.* For all other wood applications please see our V-BONDTM PLUS option. Consisting of a polymeric resin with urethane, it is perfect for wet lay installations. In addition, it easily spread and an inhibitor of bacteria growth and mold. Before spreading V-BONDTM prepare the sub-floor by thoroughly cleaning and removing any dust, wax, paint, curing and hardening compounds and old adhesives as well as conducting any moisture tests which may be required by the finished floor manufacturer. V-BONDTM PLUS

V-BONDTM PLUS is a moisture cured urethane wood flooring adhesive specially formulated to install most exotic woods, solid plank flat milled up to ½" thick as well as acrylic impregnated wood to VERDEX®. * If using V-BONDTM PLUS to adhere the finished floor to VERDEX® you may also use it to install VERDEX® over your wood or concrete sub-floor. Compared to other urethane adhesives it is very easy to spread and clean up when wet, resulting in faster installations and increased productivity for installers and flooring contractors. Before spreading V-BONDTM PLUS, prepare the sub-floor by thoroughly cleaning and removing any dust, wax, paint, curing and hardening compounds and old adhesives as well as conducting any moisture tests which may be required by the finished floor manufacturer. V-SEALTM

As part of the VERDEX® installation process V-SEALTM is the final step in maximizing your acoustical performance and sound attenuation from unit to unit. It is required that a 3/8" gap be left between the VERDEX® and the perimeter walls which is in turn filled by backer rod and final sealed by V-SEALTM. The purpose of this gap is to prevent flanking paths through which impact sound can transfer from the floor to the adjoining wall and down to the unit below.
